We often talk about inclusion, but rarely about what it feels like to not belong. In this talk, I share how my experience at Henkel shifted, from holding back parts of my identity because I didn’t feel fully safe, to finding confidence through representation, Pride initiatives, supportive leaders and a community that made space for me. It’s a story about the quiet power of ERGs and allies, and a reminder that inclusion is built through small, intentional actions that help people show up as who they truly are.

Gino S. Coletti is Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager at Henkel, working on topics that range from inclusive leadership to supporting initiatives that drive Henkel’s cultural transformation agenda. His journey began in marketing and later in employer branding, where he discovered his passion for branding, storytelling, and shaping meaningful employee experiences. Over time, this naturally evolved into DEI – work that allows him to focus on creating environments where colleagues feel seen, safe, and able to be who they truly are. Born in Peru and now based in Düsseldorf, Gino brings empathy, clarity, and lived experience into everything he does. What drives him most is simple: helping people feel they belong.
