We want all visitors to feel welcome and comfortable at SXS. That’s why we attach great importance to making the various areas as barrier-free as possible. However, the location itself is unfortunately not fully barrier-free. Below is a description of the areas and how barrier-free they are: The hall where the exhibitors are located, including the stages and the outdoor area with food trucks, is easily accessible. The same applies to the food court outside, which is directly accessible from the exhibition hall. There is also a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the hall.
The beach area of the Badeschiff is easily accessible via footbridges in the sand and invites you to linger. Please note, however, that the large wooden walkway to the pool unfortunately does not have a ramp and cannot be used independently with a wheelchair.
Some areas, such as the sun deck, where the Alice Summit after-work event takes place, as well as the rooms for coaching sessions and childcare, are unfortunately not barrier-free. The gallery in the exhibition hall, where you will find the UHLALA booth, is also only accessible via stairs.
We are constantly striving to further improve accessibility and want to give you the best possible access to the event. If you have any questions or need support, please contact us on site at any time – our team will be happy to help you!
