Allianz Managed Operations & Services SE Accounting Expert (m/f) in Group Accounting & Reporting Job Purpose/Role Group Accounting & Reporting (GAR) provides reliable, high quality financial information to management, investors, analysts, regulators and the general public as well as sets accounting and reporting standards for all Allianz companies. The GAR department Consolidation & Reporting Solutions (CRS) organizes and runs the closing process for preparing consolidated Group financial information according to IFRS and Solvency II to internal and external stakeholders. CRS is responsible for IFRS shareholders’ equity, Return on Equity, Goodwill, Solvency II Own Funds, and several other internal and external disclosures. Besides this CRS analyzes financial implications (“what-if”) for acquisitions, restructurings and disposals and manage cross-functional projects. Furthermore CRS is the connecting link between Group Accounting & Reporting and our internal IT-provider, translating business requirements into consolidation and reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Running the Group consolidation process for IFRS and Solvency II Designing and improving data analysis tools to support capital consolidation Carrying out regular reviews, planning and analysis tasks of IFRS and Solvency II results Ad-hoc reporting, ad-hoc analysis and projects Processing specific accounting related requests within the finance department Key Requirements/Skills/Experience Qualification: University degree – preferably in business sciences, business mathematics or business informatics Multiple years (3+) of relevant job experience with a focus on Group consolidation, IFRS and Solvency II Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical in approach and high attention to detail Strong German and English – in writing and speaking Procedural knowhow and ability to drive decision-making process Project management and representation skills Advanced knowledge in SAP-ECCS, SAP-BW and VBA for Excel would be an advantage Advanced knowledge in IFRS 17 would be an advantage Experience & Key Skills: Great team player with an ambition to learn and grow within a strong team Strong interest in financial and business analytics Attention to detail, thoroughness and ability to grasp new concepts quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reference Code AZSE-5199359-4 Allianz is the home for those who dare – a supportive place where you can take the initiative to grow and to actively strengthen our global leadership position.
