Application Manager – Marketing Automation Platforms (m/f) Your tasks and responsibilities The IT Operations – Marketing & Sales function is responsible to support the Marketing & Sales functions of all Bayer divisions globally as a companion for enabling multichannel management. We provide individual as well as IT-related marketing and sales consultancy. Our team designs, builds and executes Bayer’s processes and platforms to interact with our clients across multiple channels and with personalized information and services. We are looking for an Application Manager (m/f) who joins the team and helps to bring these topics and our organization forward. The main tasks are the following: Responsible for design, development and implementation of complex business intelligence solutions for pricing Maintain the application life cycle management such as release and update management steered by CAB Manage maintenance issues and smaller enhancements driven by application run, coordinate necessary vendors and Bayer units to solve the issues Establish managed services with external partners for supporting the global activities of our customers on standard software and platforms by defining specifications of services, preparing service level agreements and controlling the adherence to the given metrics as well as providing training to our partners Provide application and business process consulting on how to use the application and how to further develop the scope of the application (in collaboration with project/program management) Steer and manage budgets for application operation and possible country charge out Lead and coordinate market access projects incl. project staff like internal/external developers, consultants and testers (onsite and offshore) Supervise the implementation of high-quality solutions to optimize the marketing automation platform and effectiveness by analyzing business requirements, designing a state-of-the-art user interface, monitoring the application development and coordinating the collaboration between external vendors and internal resources Build up and continuously update relevant business knowledge (e.g. pricing processes) to leverage E2E and cross-business benefits Who you are University degree, preferably in information technology or marketing or adequate competence Significant professional experience in more than one job family (e.g. IT and Marketing) Solid functional leadership experience required as well as basic management skills (e.g. such as financial controlling) Long-term experience in the area of IT with experience in process consulting and service/provider management, preferably experience in the area of marketing automation applications Solid know-how of marketing and market access processes (especially price definition) Profound skills to communicate in business language to business and understand business requirements, needs and intentions and the ability to translate them to IT Good skills to align between different business needs and stakeholders to jointly take decisions Demonstrated analytical, conceptual thinking as well as problem/conflict solving skills Proven effective communication skills, both written and verbal required, ability to conduct trainings and present concepts in both German and English languages Availability to travel on a local/international scale when needed on business site Fluent in English, both written and spoken Your application Are you looking for a new challenge where you can show your passion for innovation?
