More information at www.metroag.de . Head of FMCG Beverages Supplier Management (f/m) Your role Global Business and Supplier Management is a unique and highly interesting function within Metro AG. Positioned centrally at the corporate global headquarter, they are the connector: they operate in a highly commercial partnership management that brings together the interests of METRO stakeholders across countries, HQ and globally leading Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) companies. We are looking for a global supplier management lead, which develops innovative strategic cooperation with selected and globally known beverages suppliers. You function as a single point of contact between international teams of strategic suppliers, Metro HQ stakeholders and various METRO country companies. You use available business intelligence and insights to develop factual know-how and (strategic) orientations on supplier related topics, you negotiate global service contracts to secure income targets and design together with our countries international supplier strategies and joint business plans. By excellent relationship management you ensure the implementation of global projects. During the whole process you initiate recurrent supplier-country workshops to align on global priorities and concepts, exchange good practice and evaluate progress on business development. We lead through influence in the department, so you will need to be adept at influencing the markets to achieve an excellent performance.   Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with a business development focus and a high affinity for relationship building. You may be a Head of Buying or Category Management, a National Account Manager or international Key Account Manager with several years of experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Good Industry. To be successful in this position, you should be willing to travel, have a high degree of cultural awareness and an affinity to manage complex stakeholder dynamics. Understanding of the Cash & Carry concept or alternatively being familiar with the retail and FMCG landscape will help you to hit the ground running. You should feel comfortable managing multiple priorities. With strong analytical and negotiation skills, strategic vision and selling capabilities you will have the tools to do a great job. An excellent command of the English language is required and fluency in other languages is a plus.   Are you interested in working in a professional team?
