Allianz Managed Operations & Services SE Intern (m/f) – Junior ITCO Office Manager Job Purpose/Role Your area Group Operations ITCO Management is a Group Center in the governance section of the Group Chief Operation Officer (Group COO) of the Allianz Group. ITCO Management acts as a global steering function for strategic IT initiatives and act as the overall Group governance body taking decision with operational relevance. It ensures for the Allianz Group that the approved Operations and IT strategy is upheld in both operating entities and operational Shared Service entities. ITCO Management defines all processes which require specific governance and maintains the rule of the process. It makes sure all parties involved adhere to the defined governance frameworks. Your unit The ITCo Office is accountable to execute the IT governance on behalf of Allianz Board Management, the Group IT Committee (ITCo), who guides and steers the implementation of the IT strategy across the Allianz Group. The ITCo office owns the functional governance within the area of the Group COO on all operations and IT topics of Allianz Group, decides on change requests for all ITCo relevant topics and approves IT External contracts of strategic relevance or above defined thresholds. The ITCo Office is mandated to develop and maintain the process for the ITCo, to propose the ITCo agenda and ensure the quality of the contributions for ITCo meetings, to support the Head of the Group Center to complete ITCo minutes and to report ITCo results to Allianz SE and the Board of Management of the area of the Group COO. The activities of the ITCo Office also include the preparation and execution of the ITCo fast track approval process, as well as communication, monitoring and implementation of ITCo decisions, measures and actions in cooperation with Allianz Group Centers, operating entities and Group project teams. The ITCo Office creates and maintains ITCo related governance documents for all ITCo related stakeholders, including ITCo Rules of Procedure, in alignment with Group Centers to ensure the compliance of applicable policies and requirements of Group Audit and Group Legal and Group Compliance. Key Responsibilities As a member of the ITCo Office team, you will work on one of the key strategic projects and initiatives which are driven and monitored by the COO Office. Depending on your qualifications and interests your responsibilities will include: Autonomous work tasks with a high degree of responsibility Preparation and design of presentations for the top management Preparation of documents for international meetings Support in project management office tasks (conference calls, meetings, agenda coordination) Quality assurance and revision of documents, both text and calculation based (business cases, project descriptions) Key Requirements/Skills/Experience Qualification Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration with an focus on IT from reputable institution Strong academic track record Excellent writing and communication skills in English; other languages are a plus Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, VBA and PowerPoint) Experience & Key skills Previous experience working in IT, Project Management, Controlling, or Business Development is a plus Experience in an international company or living abroad is strongly preferred Ability to grasp topics easily and quickly Demonstrated knowledge of the insurance industry via coursework is a plus Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as results-oriented attitude Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a dynamic working environment Reliable, accurate and precise way of working Attention to detail, thoroughness and ability to grasp new concepts quickly Team player Additional Information Start date and duration : asap, 12 months, full-time Reference Code AZSE-5340202-2 Allianz is the home for those who dare – a supportive place where you can take the initiative to grow and to actively strengthen our global leadership position.
