Sadiq Gillani has been a Senior Vice President at Lufthansa Group since 2011. He started as Chief Strategy Officer, reporting to the Group CEO. He is currently Chief Planning Officer at Eurowings, the largest low cost carrier in Central Europe. He was formerly a consultant with Bain & Co and a partner at Seabury Group. He serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council for Travel and is a Lecturer in Management at Stanford University, teaching an MBA course on the Travel & Airline Industry. He completed his M.B.A. at Harvard Business School and holds a B.A. and M.Phil in Management Studies from Cambridge University. He was included in the Financial Times Top 100 LGBT leaders list in 2014 and 2015, Financial Times Top 100 Ethnic Minority leaders in 2015, the World Economic Forum´s Young Global Leaders in 2015 and Capital Magazine´s Top 40 under 40 in 2016.
