Coaching School & the Queer Workplace Head of the Institute for Psychological Counselling, Coaching and Intervention

SHORT VITA

“I combine a deep understanding of individual development with years of leadership experience.”

As a special needs teacher, developmental therapist and long-standing headteacher, I combine therapeutic tools with a systemic perspective on schools, politics and the world of work. I know the system. I know its weak points. And I shift perspectives – because that is exactly where change begins.

What I’ve learnt in the process: those who truly understand people also change institutions. Today, I support individuals, teams and organisations not in managing diversity – but in using it for what it is: the norm.

What drives me: understanding the uniqueness of every person – not in spite of, but because of their diversity.

With me, you’ll gain crisis management expertise from the school sector, backed by my own experience of leading as a queer person – without any barriers to understanding.

Focus areas: I support queer people in their professional lives, offering a service that combines traditional career coaching with psychological counselling.

Topics: Double life. Conformity. Loss of success. Career-killer. Dead end.

Focus area: Admin in Germany can be overwhelming. So I’ll help people with all their admin and bureaucratic issues, talking you through what you need to do, where you need to go, and how to get things right first time.

Topics: Home search, admin in Berlin, foreigners’ office (Ausländerbehörde/LEA), smoothing the stress of arriving in a new country, and assisting people already in Berlin with their admin difficulties.

SHORT VITA

After almost a decade in corporate world, building capabilities for career development and a solution-focused coaching training, I started offering career coaching for international students and young professionals. I hold an ACC level coaching accreditation by International Coaching Federation.
