+++ ALWAYS UP TO DATE: Join our WhatsApp channels so you don’t miss anything before, during and after the events: SXS Berlin | SXS Cologne +++
We want all visitors to feel welcome and at ease at SXS. That is why we place great importance on making the various areas as accessible as possible. Below you will find information on the accessibility of the event.
The Uber Eats Music Hall is designed so that all areas relevant to guests are accessible via step-free routes or spacious lifts. All passageways and doors have a minimum width of 90 cm. In addition, there is an accessible toilet on every floor, which is accessible from both sides and features fold-up grab rails. Please note that the hall does not have an induction loop system.
People who require assistance may, of course, bring a support person with them free of charge. Proof of this (e.g. a ‘B’ mark on a severely disabled person’s ID card) is sufficient upon entry. Please let us know in advance if you require assistance with entry or during the event.
Assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, signal dogs or other officially trained assistance dogs, are welcome at STICKS & STONES. Please ensure that your assistance dog is clearly identifiable (e.g. by means of a harness or ID tag) so that our team can quickly recognise them as such.
For visitors arriving by car, there are numerous parking spaces for people with disabilities available in the nearby ‘Arena’ and ‘Plaza’ car parks. From there, the route to the step-free main entrance of the Music Hall is accessible and well signposted.
The nearest accessible stops are the Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station and Ostbahnhof. Both stations have lifts and ramps. In addition, numerous bus routes stop in the immediate vicinity. The routes from the stations to the Music Hall are at ground level, and the destination is clearly visible from a distance thanks to clear signage. Please allow plenty of time to travel to SXS comfortably, depending on traffic conditions.
We are constantly striving to further improve accessibility and want to ensure you have the best possible access to the event. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to speak to us on site at any time – our team will be happy to help!
