We want all visitors to feel welcome and comfortable at SXS. That’s why we attach great importance to making the various areas as accessible as possible. Below you will find information about the accessibility of the event.
The Palladium in Cologne is easily accessible via a ramp located to the right of the main entrance. Staff at the door will show wheelchair users the way into the hall upon arrival. The Palladium in Cologne is easily accessible via a ramp located to the right of the main entrance. The staff at the door will show wheelchair users the way into the hall upon arrival. The registration desk at the entrance is raised and may be difficult for wheelchair users to reach. You can ask our team for assistance at any time.
The hall where the exhibitors are located is easily accessible. This also applies to the stage in the side hall and the foyer. Unfortunately, the upper floor, where the coaching sessions and networking sessions take place, is not wheelchair accessible. The Palladium also has a wheelchair-accessible toilet. A cloakroom is available. However, it is located in the basement and cannot be accessed by wheelchair. Jackets can be handed in at the information point and will then be taken to the cloakroom.
Persons who require assistance may, of course, bring an accompanying person free of charge. Appropriate proof (e.g. “B” mark on a severely disabled person’s pass) is sufficient for admission. Please notify us in advance if you require assistance with admission or during the event.
Assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, signal dogs or other officially trained companion dogs, are welcome at STICKS & STONES. Please ensure that your assistance dog is clearly identifiable (e.g. by a harness or ID card) so that our team can quickly identify it as such.
For visitors with limited mobility, there are two public disabled parking spaces available directly in front of the E-Werk on Schanzenstraße.
Visitors using public transport can use the following accessible stops:
From these stops, the route to the venue is level and largely barrier-free. Please allow sufficient time to get to SXS comfortably, depending on traffic conditions.
We are constantly striving to improve accessibility and want to give you the best possible access to the event. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to speak to us at any time on site – our team will be happy to help!
