COMMUNITY AREA

Every day, people stand up for our community in various ways.

That deserves a big round of applause! In our Community Area, you will find associations and initiatives that champion LGBTIQ+ causes. This is not about traditional job advertisements. Instead, the associations offer you insights into their work, invite you to exchange ideas and welcome people who are interested in volunteering.

Find out about your community’s involvement in the region and get in touch with people who are doing everything they can to make our community a little more colourful every day. Here you can easily discover new projects close to your heart, network and maybe even find a place where you can make a difference as a volunteer.

ViGeB* – Promoting diversity: Gender diversity in working life

How can young trans*, inter* and non-binary people (TIN*) be better integrated into education and work? And what influence do diagnoses such as autism, depression and anxiety disorders have? The ViGeB* project examines structural barriers, disadvantages and supportive factors that influence TIN* people’s entry into working life.

Although inclusion and gender diversity are increasingly being discussed, there is still a lack of in-depth knowledge about the specific experiences of TIN* individuals in education and work – especially with regard to mental health. ViGeB* aims to close this knowledge gap and develop support measures and materials based on the new findings.
