The SXS Buddy Program

Let's go to SXS together, not alone

You might know the feeling:
You really want to attend an event, but you feel a little awkward about going alone. Maybe you’re new to the city, don’t know anyone else who’s going to the fair, or have traveled to Berlin specifically for SXS.

That’s exactly what the SXS Buddy Program is for!

Here you can meet other participants who are facing the same “hurdle.” You can make connections through this program and exploe the fair together. Whether you attend talks together, explore the venue, or meet up for other SXS features — the Buddy Program makes it easier to get started and connects people who don’t want to go alone.

How does the program work?

There are two meeting times on SXS day: at 11:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m.
The meeting point is located in the entrance area, right behind the registration desk.
A member of the SXS team will accompany your group, pick you up, and give you a quick tour of the venue.
Afterward, we’ll head to a quiet spot where we’ll have a brief get-to-know-you session.
Then you can explore the fair and your favorite program highlights together in small groups or in pairs of two.
