The non-profit organisation “Gendertreff” (English: gender = psychological or social gender) is a volunteer-run self-help organisation for trans* people, which has been an important point of contact for exchange, information and support since its foundation in 2004 (non-profit association since 2017). SC Janus e.V. is a non-profit sports club based in Cologne. Founded in 1980, it is the first and largest queer sports club in Europe and also one of the largest in the world in terms of membership.
