Live on the high seas

The perspectives of non-white and queer people are still neglected in the German media. Activist Zuher Jazmati and presenter and hip hop party organiser Dominik Djialeu want to change this with BBQ – the Black Brown Queer Podcast. They talk about topics such as sex work, queerness in the media industry, BIPoC in politics, the fetishisation of non-white people and queerness in rap.

Queer Slam: Voices at Sea: 13:45-15:15 (free of charge!)

Poetry slam in queer and on the Spree. The Queer Slam Berlin is not a niche event, but the largest regularly organised poetry slam in Berlin. All the letters of LGBTQIA are represented on and in front of the stage when people are invited to perform their own texts under the rainbow flag every month. Now for the first time on water!

Presenter Christian Ritter brings his DJ and some top slammers on board, the audience not only listens and applauds, but also acts as a jury, votes for its favourites in the final and chooses the winner at the end. Among others, Lu Komma Klar, Karl Kelschebach and Jo will be there, slamming in German and English, and you need to be in a good mood and ready for euphoria.

Proudr invites you to Queer Ahoy, the queerest networking boat tour ever. This STICKS & STONES special event on the Spree offers 1.5 hours of inspiring encounters, cool drinks and great music.
